Alvaro Morata’s move to Chelsea is back on!

The striker was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge last summer, despite already transferring back to Real Madrid. The Spanish giants triggered a clause in the strikers contract at Juventus which allowed them to sign him for a set price of £40million.

However the 24-year old hasn’t featured regularly for Los Blancos wants to quit the club in search of more regular action. Chelsea are still interested in signing the Spaniard, who could be a replacement for Diego Costa, who is reportedly unhappy at Stamford Bridge.

A report in The Telegraph claims that Morata has told his friends that he ‘expects to join Chelsea’. It also says that Morata is also a fan of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, the man who initially took him from Real Madrid to Juventus.
