Everton to rival West Ham to sign Arsenal star

Everton will rival West Ham in their attempts to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud according to reports today.

The Sun on Sunday claim that Ronald Koeman is prepared to make a £20m move for the Gunners striker who has become frustrated with his limited game time.

The 30-year-old had to settle for an increased amount of time on the bench, as Alexis Sanchez took on the mantle for role of the clubs main striker.

Sanchez has been linked with a move away this summer, but Arsenal are being linked with a club record move for Alexandre Lacazette as well as a world record bid for Kylian Mbappe, meaning that Giroud will still have to settle for a place on the substitute bench.

Everton on the other hand could have a huge Romelu Lukaku shaped hole up front, with the striker being linked with a big money move to Chelsea.

They have also lost Arouna Kone and Enner Valencia meaning they only have Oumar Niasse as the senior striker at Goodison Park.

They have been linked with Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez, who is expected to join on a £5.2m move.

West Ham have been linked with making a move for Frenchman, as have Ligue 1 club, Marseille.

Where should Giroud play his football next season? Would he be a good signing for Everton or West Ham? Is he worth £20m? Leave your thoughts below.
