Real Madrid are plotting a summer swoop for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero according to the Daily Mirror.
The Argentinian has seemingly fallen out of favour with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad, making just 14 Premier League starts this season, firing 11 goals.
Pep Guardiola demands a high energy pressing style from all of his player. Kevin de Bruyne and Kelechi Ihenacho have sometimes been preferred to the 28-year old during this season. The introduction of Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus, who scored against West Ham in midweek, will further limit Aguero’s opportunities.
European Champions Real Madrid could be on the look out for reinforcements in the striker department. Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata have been linked with departures from the Bernabeu. This would open the door for them to make a move for Aguero, who is under contract at Manchester City until 2020.
